SLS Dubai is the first for the brand in the region

Located in the Downtown district of the emirate, SLS Dubai is one of the tallest hotels and residences in the region, with views of the Burj Khalifa.

The 75-storey tower was developed with architecture firm Aedas, while the interiors of the 254-room hotel and its F&B venues were designed by Bishop Design. The building also includes 371 residential units and 321 hotel apartments.

The hotel is the seventh for the SLS brand internationally, adding to properties in the US and Bahamas. The hotel’s dining options include Fi’lia, a female-run restaurant and a contemporary steakhouse.

Hotel guests enter through the ground floor atrium, checking in at the Sky Lobby on the 71st floor, and beyond on the 75th floor is Privilege, a lounge and nightlife venue, featuring the highest infinity pool in the region. The hotel also includes a caviar bar called 12 Chairs and the Ciel Spa.

The opening of SLS Dubai follows the completion of Accor’s acquisition of SBE’s brands, including SLS, Delano, Mondrian and Hyde, last November.

Accor is also now in a joint venture with Ennismore, creator of the Hoxton brand, to oversee “the creation of one of the world’s largest lifestyle operators”.

Within the division, Mondrian Shoreditch London is due to open this summer, as a rebrand of the former Curtain hotel in east London.
