DOHA: Al Shamal Municipality has opened a new beach for women in Al Ghariya area in an effort to provide the best services and preserve the privacy of visitors.
Al Mamlaha beach is around 15,000 sq. metres in area and the main entrance is from the north side. It is completely fenced and provide with all basic facilities like toilets, guard rooms, umbrellas, barbecue places, garbage containers and rope barrier along the beach to prevent entry of water scooters.
The beach is very well illuminated with solar energy and security will be provided by female guards.
The beach will be open to female visitors daily from 9 am to 10 pm.
