ABU DHABI: Adnoc’s Appersakam oilfield holds the world record for the world’s longest oil and gas well.
Appersakum, the second largest offshore field in the world, is now 15,240 meters long.
In this category, UAE surpassed the record of 15,000 meters long oil and gas well set by Russia in 2017. The plan is to produce 50 lakh barrels of oil per day by 2030.
