Announced last June, Asus’ ZenBook 14 (UX425) is finally coming to the UAE tomorrow, August 27th. This next-generation ultraportable notebook is being called the world’s thinnest, measuring only 13.9 mm and weighs a little over a kilogram.
Despite its thin profile, the notebook features a full set of I/O ports that include HDMI, USB Type-A, Thunderbolt USB-C, and a microSD card reader. There’s even a full-size keyboard with spaced out keys for easier typing. The trackpad also doubles as a numpad at the touch of a button. Asus also promises up to 22 hours of battery on a single charge.

The ZenBook 14 also features compact four-sided NanoEdge displays that offer a 90 percent screen-to-body ratio for more immersive visuals. The notebook is powered by a 10th-Gen Intel processor with up to 16GB of RAM, up to 1TB PCIe SSD, and support for Wi-Fi 6.
The ASUS ZenBook 14 (UX425) will be available for 3,699 AED across major retailers in the UAE including Sharaf DG, Emax, E-City, Virgin Megastores, Computronics, Amazon, and Noon.

Also launching tomorrow is the new line of Electro Punk special edition gaming devices. Asus said that its ROG line has already used Aura Sync as a way to personalize gaming gear, but it is now offering the Electro Punk option so that you can show off a more personal side without having to turn on RGB lighting.
ROG went through 10 shades of pink and have come up with a ‘high-energy’ hue with the hex color code #F7266B that is now present on the Electro Punk line. Black was also chosen as a backdrop to highlight the new color and since dark materials tend to hold up better over time, these new Electro Punk devices won’t exhibit the normal wear and tear over time.
The full set of Electro Punk devices include the ROG Strix G15 gaming laptop, ROG Strix Go 2.4 headset, ROG Strix Scope TKL keyboard, ROG Strix Impact II mouse, ROG Sheath mouse pad, and ROG Ranger BP1503 backpack.
The highlight is of course the ROG Strix G15 gaming laptop, which is powered by the latest 10th Gen Intel Core i7 CPU and configurable with an Nvidia GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER GPU. The notebook’s display supports a fast 3ms grey-to-grey response time perfect for gaming and also supports an easy upgrade design.
The ROG Electro Punk products will be available in the UAE exclusively at Emax. The ROG Strix G15 gaming laptop will retail for 5,499 AED.
