According to Cathie Wood, the company’s CEO and chief investment officer, the most popular question on Ark Invest’s website has nothing to do with investing in the United States.

“The No. 1 question on our website when we track these questions is, ‘Why can’t we buy your strategies in Europe?’” the tech investor told CNBC’s “ETF Edge” this week.

Wood’s company expanded its presence in Europe last month with the acquisition of Rize ETF Limited from AssetCo.

“We found this little gem of a company within AssetCo that is very similar philosophically and from a DNA perspective to Ark,” Wood said. “They know what’s in their portfolios. They are very future-oriented, topic-oriented. They have a sustainable focus, which is absolutely necessary in Europe.”

It estimates that 25% of the overall demand for Ark’s research strategies comes from Europe.

“We are terribly impressed with the quality of their products [Rise ETF] “We saw it during the deal, and I think we will take off if the regulators approve our strategies there. And of course we would like to spread their strategies around the world, including in the US.”

According to the company, Wood’s company manages approximately $25 billion in assets. As of September 30, FactSet reports that the five largest holdings are Ark Tesla, Coinbase, UiPath, Roku And Zoom video.
