Charitable Activities: The UAE is at the forefront

Dr. Khaled Abdel Wahab Al Khaja, Secretary-General of the International Charitable Organization, said that the United Arab Emirates was able to be at the forefront of donor countries, through its humanitarian initiatives, charitable projects and its continuous giving.

In a statement on the occasion of World Humanitarian Day, he added: “We recall the humanitarian initiatives of the International Charitable Organization, and the tireless efforts of its employees, work teams and offices around the world, and how it was able to be part of the system of human values ​​established by the founding fathers and became a milestone for the UAE.”

And he concluded: “The International Charity Organization, through the Ramadan campaign, the Eid al-Adha campaign, and the summer campaign, reached millions of needy people, and put its mark in areas that no body has reached, and today it launches the schools campaign, with more than 50 humanitarian projects, such as paying tuition fees and providing tablets within the country.” In addition to building schools, furnishing classrooms, providing school uniforms and school bags, organizing educational courses, and other charitable projects outside the country.
