The Emirates Astronomy Society and the Emirates Tour Guides Association signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation at the headquarters of the Emirates Astronomy Society in Sharjah on Saturday evening.
The memorandum was signed by Ibrahim Al Jarwan, President of Emirates Astronomy Authority, and Jassim Al Bastaki, Vice President of Emirates Tour Guides, in the presence of Sultan Karani and Abdul Rahman Ahmed, members of the boards of the two associations.
This cooperation comes as a result of strengthening cooperation and coordination between the two sides and developing knowledge exchange, especially in astronomy and celestial navigation and its applications, especially in tourism guidance, to achieve knowledge and safety for tourist groups.
The memorandum stipulated the strengthening of cooperation on the preparation and implementation of joint activities and events, in the interest of the members, within the framework of the two associations’ objectives, and the efforts to achieve goal integration between the associations of general interest. in the state, to achieve the public interest.
