Demand for Wireless multi-room audio systems on the rise, says DG+

According to UAE’s leading audio-visual specialists, DG+, nearly 80 percent of new AV and home entertainment systems buyers opt for multiroom audio systems for their homes. DG+, part of Sharaf DG has found that 8 out of 10 in-store customers are eager to know more, or choosing to buy a multi-room audio system. And, also the company revealed that the demand for streaming technologies doubled in past one year.

Multi-room audio systems leverage at-home Wi-Fi to send music wirelessly over a group of speakers attached to the same network, offering seamless access to music, flexible control via mobile apps or web browsers, and customizable listening opportunities as a family, individual or in every room. It allows user to can set up any number of speakers they like, and then stream, or play music from a variety of sources straight from their phone or other compatible source device. Wireless streaming is considered to be one of the simplest solutions to conveniently enjoy high-quality music wirelessly without the fuss of wires or complex pieces of equipment.

Popular systems like Denon’s Home Sound Bar 550 are seeing increased interest from buyers in the UAE, according to DG+. It is the latest product in Denon’s “Home” series of products and offers streaming across the whole home from audio players and the TV.
