Discounts from “Esaad” and “Fazaa” for members of “Emirates Pensioners”

The head of the Emirates Retirees Association, Obaid Hadid Al-Khamisi, stated that there is a new package of services that the association is working to provide to its members, especially discounts on flights, telecommunications companies, electricity and health insurance.

He confirmed to “Emirates Today” that “Emirates Airlines” provided great support based on an agreement that begins to be implemented on September 15, represented in discounts for members of the association, and an agreement is under way with “Air Arabia” , ” Fly Dubai” and “Etihad”, in addition to The two companies “Etisalat” and “you”, where we asked them for a special discount, and employment of children of pensioners.

He opined that “honouring the retirees is done by ensuring a decent life for him and his children,” adding that “in the field of health, there is a private hospital to provide medical services to retirees and the main thing we are looking for now is health insurance for association members, and discounts on electricity and telephones.Currently, meetings are being arranged with (Esaad) and (Fazaa) officials to offer discounts to association members and affiliates.

“The association is currently unable to provide financial support to its members, but we have cooperative societies that support us, such as the Sharjah Cooperative Society and the Sharjah Charity Society,” he said.

Finally, the General Assembly of the Emirates Retirees Association decided to elect a new Board of Directors for the Association, consisting of 11 members, by acclamation, during the General Assembly meeting at the Sharjah Culture Palace chaired by the President of the Association, Obaid Hadid Al-Khamisi.
