Divyanka Tripathi Dahiya and her husband Vivek Dahiya have been married since 2016 and their love affair is nothing short of a fairy tale. Divyanka recently opened up about her relationship and shared how her father reacted when she told him they were together.
In an interview, Divyanka said her father “raised his eyebrows” when he learned of his relationship with Vivek and that she had to have several “interviews” with family members before their marriage.
UK Time News quoted Divyanka as saying, “Dad raised his eyebrows and I hadn’t seen him do that in the case of my old ‘friends’. This happened because it was clear that Vivek and I were planning to get married. Then Vivek was interviewed. by my father, my sister and my brother-in-law. I too was interviewed by his family in a closed room.
Divyanka rose to fame with her popular series “Banoo Main Teri Dulhann”, which aired from 2006 to 2009. She subsequently starred in shows such as “Mrs & Mr Sharma Allahabadwale” and “Yeh Hai Mohabbatein”.
