Dubai – The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced that the construction of the Falcon Interchange development project is 55% complete. The project is between Khalid Bin Waleed – Al Khaleez Street. Al Waleed Street and Al Gubaiba Street will be included in the project. It is connected to the north end of the Infinity Bridge (Al Shindagh Bridge).
RTA Chairman Matar Al Tayer said that the project is being implemented under the guidance of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai. He said that the Falcon Interchange development project is part of the Al Shindaga Roads Corridor Improvement Project and it stretches a total of 13 km along Al Mina Street, Al Khaleez Street and Cairo Street.
It will also enhance traffic safety, provide entry/exit points to Port Rashid and provide more parking facilities.
