ABU DHABI, 18 June / WAM / Abu Dhabi General Command announced that heavy vehicles (trucks) belonging to the Hudayriat Island Development Project will be allowed to use the International Airport Road E20 for 24 hours, except during rush hour (from: 30 until 9:00), and urged drivers to exercise caution due to the expectation of heavy traffic on the road during the duration of the project.
Abu Dhabi Police stated that the decision comes from a continuous collaboration with partners and to facilitate the procedures for companies working on the Hudayriat Island development project, in a way that speeds up the completion and execution of the tasks required in the field. the project within the specified time.
She noted that the Federal Road Traffic Act allows for the imposition of fines on trucks that do not meet the specified times for driving on the roads as well as the total allowable weight, and urged all companies working in the field of trucking to apply the highest standards for road safety and to comply with the designated roads and obtain the necessary permits.
