DUBAI, August 12 / WAM / The Dubai Electricity and Water Authority Youth Council organized, in conjunction with the International Youth Day, a series of events and discussion sessions on investing young energies to promote sustainable development.

Many local and institutional youth councils participated in the events, including Dubai Youth Council, “Du” Youth Council, Microsoft Youth Council, Roads and Transport Authority Youth Council and Emirates Global Aluminum Company Youth Council, with the participation of more than 100 young men and women.

His Excellency Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, Chief Executive Officer and CEO of Dubai Electricity and Water Authority, emphasized that empowering young people and giving them opportunities and tools to launch their creativity and innovative solutions has become a comprehensive national culture in the UAE.

His Excellency said: “In the Authority, we are inspired by our vision from the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates and Ruler of Dubai, to support the nation’s youth, refine their capabilities, and consolidate their effective role to continue the path of successes and build on it The authority adopts an integrated strategy to rehabilitate the nation Young people to participate in various national workplaces.
