DUBAI, July 29, WAM / Workshops held by government departments at “Modesh World” at the Dubai World Trade Center witnessed a large turnout from families who accompanied their children to acquire skills and learn about the services provided by these bodies to society.
The Directorate General of Residency and Foreigners Affairs organized an educational and entertaining workshop for children on the UAE passport, its importance and how to use it. The workshop witnessed the participation of more than 300 children.
The workshop also included an augmented reality experience for the new smart gate system launched at Dubai Airport.
The coming weeks will witness the presentation of several workshops by the Directorate General of Civil Defence, Dubai Health Authority, Dubai Police, Dubai Municipality, Community Development Authority and Dubai Safari.
It is noteworthy that “Modhesh World” is one of the biggest entertainment and educational destinations in Dubai, as its launch coincides with the Silver Jubilee season of Dubai Summer Surprises.
Organized by Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment, Modhesh World presents many events, activities, entertainment and educational performances, workshops and awards, and will continue until August 28 at Sheikh Saeed Hall 1, 2 and 3 and the Arena at Dubai World Trade Centre.
