Sharjah, 1 July / WAM / The Conservation Department of the Sharjah Electricity, Water and Gas Authority is organizing the eighth edition of the rationalization campaign in July and next August, in connection with the rationalization class, which started today from 14.30 to 15.30 according to directives from His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, a member of the Supreme Council and ruler of Sharjah, with the aim of developing the awareness among officials, institutions, companies, community leaders and individuals about the importance of energy and water and the methods for its optimal use, the need for periodic maintaining units and strengthening the capacity for collective action to address global warming by rationalizing energy consumption and using natural resources in a more conscious way.

The Ministry of Conservation announced that this year’s campaign is a step we are taking to make the rationalization of electricity consumption a way of life among the number of state and private bodies, commercial centers that will participate in the initiative this year, institutions, companies and a larger number members of society as well as some Arab and international institutions and organizations.
