Dubai: The organizers revealed that the Saudi Pavilion at Expo 2020 has the longest interactive waterscape, the largest LED mirror screen and the largest interactive lighting floor, and holds three Guinness records.

The most advanced pavilion-the second largest pavilion after the UAE-will lead visitors to the rich past, vibrant present and promising future of the Arab Kingdom.

Approximately 8,000 LED lights on the largest interactive lighting floor will dazzle visitors, while the 32-meter-long interactive water feature and the 1302.5-square-meter LED interactive digital mirror will add a unique visual experience.

A 68-square-meter curved LED screen greets visitors as they embark on a technical journey through the five ecosystems, suggesting the kingdom’s natural spaces, beautiful coasts, vast deserts, surrounding oceans and mountains. The journey will take visitors through the flora of the Al Bardani Valley in the Asir region to the majestic Tabuk Mountains, from the sand dunes in the open areas of southeast Saudi Arabia to the crystal clear waters of the Red Sea.

Visitors to the Saudi Pavilion will experience 14 cultural landmarks along the stunning escalator. These include acclaimed UNESCO World Heritage sites such as the At-Turaif district in Ad-Diriyah, the Hegra archaeological site in AlUla, the historical site of Jeddah, the rock art of the Hail region and the Al-Ahsa Oasis.

Through audiovisual guides, guests can explore 23 other destinations, including the world’s leading gigabit projects, which are rewriting the possibilities of sustainable development, such as Chidiya, Diriye Gate and King Salman Park.

Afterwards, visitors will enter “Vision”, a unique art exhibition curated by famous Saudi artists. Highlights include a 30m floating virtual sphere and a customized interactive floor.

Finally, the pavilion will lead visitors to the “Discovery Center”, an innovative platform that will connect leaders from all over the world, establish exciting partnerships and discuss investment opportunities, visualized through an interactive digital map of Saudi Arabia.

People, opportunity, nature and heritage are the four pillars of the visitor experience of the 13,000-square-meter Kingdom Pavilion, which is one of the most sustainable buildings for Expo 2020 Dubai. It has obtained the LEED Platinum certification issued by the United States Green Building Council (USGBC), which is the highest internationally recognized sustainability rating for energy and environmental design leadership.
