Firefighters from two depots have tackled a blaze in a Dubai warehouse.
The fire broke out in a ceramics facility in the Umm Ramool area of Deira at 4:48pm on Thursday.
Teams from Rashidiya and Port Saeed centres were on the scene swiftly and controlled the blaze in under an hour.
It was not immediately clear what caused the blaze but no injuries were reported.
“The officer in-charge controlled the fire by 5.39pm,” Dubai Civil Defence said.
Umm Ramool is chiefly a residential and commercial community and is one of the oldest industrial areas in Dubai.
Final operations to secure the site were expected to finish within hours.
