On Monday, August 22, the field of education will witness the return of the “teaching, administrative and technical” bodies after the end of the summer holidays. Public and private schools implementing the ministerial curriculum in the various emirates of the country receive teachers and all bodies, marking the start of the new school year 2022-2023.

State and private schools following the ministerial curriculum are scheduled to receive students of all educational levels on the first day of school for the new academic year 2022-2023, Monday, August 29, at a new science station. and knowledge training.

According to the available statistics, the total number of teachers is 141,291 teachers, administrators and technicians, with 43,800 in public schools and 97,491 in private ones, at a time when the field of education awaits the publication of the Emirates Foundation for School Education, the new updates regarding the number of teachers and newly hired teachers for the new academic year, and they are scheduled to undergo the Continuing Education Program, which will receive new updates this year.

The number of school days for the new academic year is 188 according to the school calendar approved by the Council of Ministers for Development; It begins for teaching and administrative staff on Monday 22 August and for students on the 29th of the same month. The winter break for teaching and administrative staff is scheduled for Monday 19 December and continues until 1 January 2023, and for students Monday 12 December to 1 January 2023, provided that working hours for all students and bodies start on Monday 2 January 2023.

Spring vacation for teaching and administrative staff begins Monday, April 3, 2023 to Friday, April 14, 2023, and for students, Monday, March 27, 2023 to Friday, April 14, 2023, provided that work per students and teaching and administrative staff in the schools for the third semester will begin on Monday, April 17, 2023, and the last day of school is expected to be Wednesday, June 14, 2023.
