The Jan. 16 bookings topped the July 11, 2023 peak by 18%, making it the biggest sales day in the cruise line’s history.
Alaska is popular
Holland America also set a record for the week ending Jan. 19, achieving its largest bookings week during a wave season. More than one-third of the week’s bookings were for Alaska cruises. And 22% of the reservations were made for travel in 2025 or later.
Longer voyages
This week, HAL launched its newest set of ‘Legendary Voyages,’ longer cruises with destination-rich itineraries crafted to allow passengers to linger longer, and with programming that enriches the experience in each destination.
And in 2025, the line will run simultaneous voyages of more than 120 days, with the ‘2025 Grand Voyage: Pole-to-Pole’ and the ‘2025 Grand World Voyage.’
