What is the revised multi-entry tourist visa in UAE?
The new five-year multi-entry tourist visa does not require a sponsor. Holders of this visa can stay in the UAE for up to 90 days. This visa can be extended for another 90 days. A person can stay in the UAE for a maximum of 180 days on a multi-entry tourist visa. The applicant must have a bank balance of USD 4,000 (Dh 14,700) or its equivalent in foreign currencies within six months prior to applying for the visa.
In March last year, the UAE cabinet meeting decided to approve the multi-entry visitor visa. The reforms are aimed at growing the UAE as a global investment hub.
“Many people are now showing interest in multi-entry tourist visa for parents. This is a very convenient option for many people. Because parents can visit the UAE at any time during the five-year period,” said Abdul Ghafoor, General Manager of Al Mas Businessmen Service.
