Tourists enjoy Emirati hospitality on fun-filled four-day tour

A group of Indian expats recently flew to the UAE on a fun-filled educational trip, giving wings to the dreams of dozens of schoolchildren in their home state of Tamil Nadu.

Up to 68 Year 11 pupils from Tamil Nadu public schools enjoyed world-renowned Emirati hospitality during the four-day trip from 10-13 November as they visited the sights and sounds of the country .

“None of these kids had ever flown before. Many didn’t even have passports.

A curated list of experiences and top attractions ensures they make the most of their short layover, from the Museum of the Future, Burj Khalifa and Dubai Aquarium to the Louvre Abu Dhabi, Sheikh Zayed Mosque and the newly opened Hindu Everything about the temple.

They also visited the Mohammad bin Rashid Library and the Sarah International Book Fair.

On the first day, Indian Consul General Aman Puri received the children accompanied by Anbil Mahesh Poyyamozhi, Tamil Nadu School Education Minister. Later the minister donated 1000 books to the MBR library on behalf of the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu.

The trip was also supported by Essa Abdula Al Ghurair and Mirza Hussain Al Sayegh.
