iOS 17.3 and iPadOS 17.3 become available for third public beta testing by Apple

Apple seeded the third public beta of the iOS 17.hallell. It comes one day after developer betas begin. Apple’s method for testing new versions of iOS 17.3 and iPadOS 17.3 updates is called public beta. Why wasn’t there a second beta instead of the first one?

In order to download updates for iOS 17.3 and iPadOS 17.3, public beta testers who have enrolled in Apple’s beta testing program can simply access the updates by going to the General tab in the Settings app, selecting the “Software Update” section, and selecting the iOS 17 Public Beta option.

The iOS 17.3 update includes a new feature named Stol consequently Stolmédiastent protection, which limits access to your private data if someone gets your iPhone and your passcode: by using Touch ID or Face ID biometric verification, by by turning off Find My, or by simply turning off Face ID or Touch ID when the feature is enabled, to change an Apple ID password or an iPhone passcode.

Apple Music users can now create playlists in a collaborative manner with their friends, family, or other similar interests in the beta, thanks to the integration with Apple Music.

As per MacTrast and Apple’s recommendation, users should refrain from installing beta versions of their daily driver iPhones or iPad and instead opt for a reserved device for beta testing.
