Joaquin Buckley hits quite possibly the craziest kick knockout.
A little less than two hours before Joaquin Buckley took to the Octagon at UFC Fight Island 5, Mamed Khalidov shook up the MMA world with a crazy knockout in the KSW. Buckley may have just one-upped him in the Knockout of the Year debate in his fight with Impa Kasanganay.
The two had plenty of action in the first round, rocking one another with one-off strikes and flurries. As exciting as it was, it still didn’t prepare fight fans for what was going to happen in the next round.

In the second, Kasanganay caught one of Buckley’s kicks, only for Buckley to jump up — like a pro-wrestling enzuigiri or a crazy taekwondo kick — and smack Kasanganay on the button with his other foot, dropping him out cold.
This marks Buckley’s first UFC win after dropping his debut to Kevin Holland, and he may have just stolen the KO of the Year award from Khalidov, Cody Garbrandt or Sean O’Malley.
