Rendezvous Music Festival Returns to Jackson Hole With Indie Rock Headliners

53

Platinum-selling acts Mt. Joy and The Head And The Heart will headline the Rendezvous Music Festival when the event makes its return to Jackson Hole on April 5-6, celebrating Jackson Hole Mountain Resort’s winter season with performances by two of the most celebrated bands in indie rock.

The Rendezvous Music Festival is a two-day spring music festival, featuring concerts in the iconic Town Square in Jackson on Friday and in Teton Village on Saturday evening. The event is free of charge for general admission guests across both venues, and VIP tickets are available for a premium experience.

This year’s lineup continues the trend of acclaimed acts performing at the base of the Teton Range, with The Head And The Heart headlining the first night of festivities in Jackson’s Town Square on April 5. The Seattle-based group has been a mainstay on the indie folk and rock scene since their self-titled debut album broke through in 2011, and the band’s two follow-up albums both reached Billboard’s Top 10 albums chart. The group’s 2016 release “Signs of Light” secured the No. 1 position on the rock album chart on the strength of the band’s second platinum single, “All We Ever Knew.”

Texas-based Americana duo Jamestown Revival will open for The Head And The Heart.

The Philadelphia quintet Mt. Joy will headline the second night of festivities in Teton Village at the base of Jackson Hole Mountain Resort on April 6, marking their Rendezvous Music Festival debut after previous stops at Austin City Limits Music Festival, Lollapalooza and Bonnaroo. Mt. Joy formed in 2016 and made their mark two years later when their self-titled debut album spun off the hit single “Silver Lining,” which rocketed to the top of the alternative chart and has been streamed more than 120 million times on Spotify.
