Royal Enfield is set to launch the all-new Himalayan 452 in the coming weeks, and the first official image of the dual-purpose adventurer tourer has been released on the brand’s social media channels. The image showcases the Himalayas, the birthplace of the new Himalayan.

The new Royal Enfield Himalayan 452 features all-LED lighting, including LED headlamp, LED tail lamps, and LED turn indicators. It sports a white body shade with a black casing for the LED headlamp. Additional features include a tall transparent windscreen, a number plate holder, and the signature front beak or raised fender.

The motorcycle also boasts a side-mounted exhaust system, a wide handlebar, and a large fully digital instrument console with possible navigation and Bluetooth connectivity. The fuel tank has a larger size and is surrounded by metal braces for a purposeful look, similar to the Himalayan 411.

From the available information, it is known that the Royal Enfield Himalayan 452 will have a wheelbase length of 1,510 mm and an overall width of 852 mm. The presence of an off-set monoshock rear suspension will provide more room, and the upside-down front forks at the front should enhance the overall ride quality.

Powered by a 451.65 cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled DOHC fuel-injected engine, the Himalayan 452 is expected to deliver a maximum power output of 39.57 bhp and a peak torque of around 35-40 Nm. It will be equipped with a six-speed transmission and a slipper and assist clutch.

The motorcycle will feature 21-inch front and 17-inch rear wire-spoked wheels, front and rear disc brakes with a dual-channel ABS system. It is expected to be priced around Rs. 2.6 lakh (ex-showroom) and will compete with the likes of KTM 390 Adventure X, Yezdi Adventure, and BMW G310 GS. Improved overall build quality is expected compared to the previous Himalayan model.
