Manama, Dec. 1 (BNA): Speaker of the Council of Representatives, Fawzia bint Abdulla Zainal, today sent a cable of congratulations to the Speaker of the UAE Federal National Council (FNC), Saqr Ghubash Saeed Al Marri, on sisterly UAE’s 49th National Day.
The speaker lauded the depth of the solid brotherly Bahraini-UAE relations and the distinguished cooperation between them in various fields, under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and UAE President, HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al-Nahyan.
She stressed that Bahrain and the UAE are one country, with common goals and destiny, adding that the Council of Representatives in Bahrain and the FNC in the UAE continue to support joint projects. She wished the brotherly UAE people further progress and prosperity.
The speaker sent a similar cable of congratulations to the UAE Ambassador to Bahrain, Shaikh Sultan bin Hamdan bin Zayed Al-Nahyan.
