DIFC’s iconic restaurant introduces their 2022 Iftar menu where Italian cuisine meets Middle Eastern flair

Dubai, UAE: Having recently turned 10 in March 2022, Roberto’s has brought a special twist to their Ramadan menu this year. Fittingly served at Tramonto time, the Italian word for sunset, Roberto’s award-winning culinary team designed an exquisite multi-course set menu to suit this upcoming Ramadan. Perhaps the most ingenious way to fuse Italian cuisine with Middle Eastern traditions, the menu reinvents the typical Iftar meal by showcasing a meticulous blend of familiar Arabic flavors with a nod to the culinary house’s Italian roots.

Diners are welcomed to embark on the sunset journey with a choice of 8 appetizers, including a comforting bowl of Castelluccio Lentil Soup or the creamy, flavorful Burrata with Sicilian Datterini tomatoes and pomegranate molassesPatrons can then choose between the oven-baked Sea Bass al Cartoccio with artichoke and pepe sauce, and the Costolette d’Agnello Marinate (marinated lamb chop)paired with delicious purple mashed potato. Roberto’s special lineup of homemade Middle Eastern and Italian desserts makes for the ideal sweet note to a sunset banquet.

In addition to the delectable menu, 9 Michelin Star Chef Enrico Bartolini composed a limited ‘Black Clover’ mocktail along with Roberto’s phenomenal lead mixologist Vasile Dorofeev.
