The new Dyson Corrale hair straightener, the only straightener with flexing plate technology is now available in the region, specifically in UAE and KSA.
This new take on the hair straightener features a micro-hinged plate technology, which flex to shape and gather hair, applying even heat and tension to all the hair strands in every pass and keeping them aligned, reducing the reliance on heat.
Unlike other straighteners, these flexing plates provide greater control to the user for styling, with minimal heat, Dyson claims.
“We have been worried about the style results and heat damage from flat plate straighteners. We invented plates that flex and which conform to the precise profile of the tress, applying even heat and correct tension to all the hair strands, keeping them aligned. This means that we get an enhanced styling and without excessive heat damage,” said James Dyson, the founder and chief engineer at Dyson.
Similar to the Dyson Supersonic and the Dyson Airwrap, this too comes with an intelligent heat control; it has three heat settings: 164 degrees Celsius, 185 degree Celsius and 210 degree Celsius. Using a platinum sensor, the temperature is measured 100 times a second. You can switch these up based on the hair type and desired style.
The straightener is powered by a four-cell lithium-ion battery, allowing it to be cord-free for users to use anywhere, anytime. The device fully charges in 70 minutes, which allows 30 minutes of cord-free styling. In addition to this, a flight mode on the device ensures that the device meets air travel standards and can be packed in cabin luggage for travel.
The device is now available on Dyson’s UAE and Saudi websites for AED1,999 and on for SAR2,369.
