The Arabic Language Academy in Sharjah participated in the symposium organized by the Arabic Language Academy in Khartoum at Al-Neelain University under the title “The Arabic Language: Reality and Ambition”.

The symposium was spoken by Dr. Muhammad Safi Al Mosteghanemi, Secretary General of the Arabic Language Academy in Sharjah, and attended by Dr. Al-Hadi Adam Muhammad Ibrahim, Director of Al-Neelain University, and Dr. Bakri Muhammad Al-Haj, President of the Arabic Language Academy in Khartoum, and moderated by Dr. Salwa Othman Ahmed, Dean of the Faculty of Arts at Al-Neelain University.

The session included the presentation of a paper entitled “Arabic: The Crisis of a Mother’s Tongue” by Dr. Izdihar Abdel Rahman El-Sayed, former Dean of the Faculty of Arabic Language at Omdurman Islamic University, and another on “Improvement and Ugly in Literary Critical Discourse” by Dr. Ezz El-Din Ali Mukhtar, Professor in the Department of Arabic Language at Al -Neelain University.

Dr. Muhammad Safi Al Mosteghanemi, in his intervention through visual communication technology, emphasized the great interest and care that His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Councilor and ruler of Sharjah, points to the reality and future of the Arabic language. language, especially on the African continent, pointing out that efforts to strengthen the Arabic language are valued efforts, especially with the state of synergy and cooperation we are witnessing between Arab language academies that would bear fruit.

Dr. Al-Mostaghanemi suggested that the Arabic-language bodies, agencies and institutions coordinate their efforts from Arabic-language academies and centers, in addition to the need to implement the decisions taken by the academies to enable practical mechanisms to serve the Arabic language on earth.

He pointed out that it is not possible to speak of a separate reality in the Arabic language isolated from improving the conditions of the teacher. Arab love.

Al-Mustaghanemi recommended strengthening the concerted efforts to achieve what he described as the “Century Project”, which enjoys unlimited support from His Highness, the ruler of Sharjah, represented in the “Historical Dictionary of the Arabic Language”, and praised the efforts of the Arabic language academy in Khartoum to contribute to the success of this project, in the hope that this project will bear fruit.
