Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Hamid Majul Al Nuaimi, Rector of the University, held a scientific workshop at the University of Sharjah’s headquarters entitled “High Performance Computing (HPC): Techniques and Applications”, organized by the Faculties of Science, Computing and Informatics in collaboration with the Research Institute of Science and Engineering (RISE) at the University; The workshop discussed the most important technological developments in the field of computers. With the participation of experts and researchers from the United Arab Emirates and a number of countries.
Prof. Muammar Beltayeb, Vice President of the University of Scientific Research and Master’s Studies, stressed the importance of holding workshops and their role in keeping up with all the latest in computing and informatics, pointing to the university’s support for scientific research, which is a means to development and community development.He also thanked the organizers and participants from prestigious universities and research centers.
Dr. Abbas Amira, Dean of the College of Computing and Informatics, stressed the importance of participating in various experiments and practices to present solutions in the field of computing that contribute to a prominent influence in scientific research and its applications.
