Three Galway Finalists Nominated for SEAI Energy Awards 2023

Three Galway finalists have been named among the nominees for the SEAI Energy Awards 2023, which were announced today. Glinsk Sustainable Energy Community and Ahascragh Distillery have been recognized for their commitment to sustainable and renewable energy. Meanwhile, the University of Galway is being acknowledged for its excellence in the Energy in Buildings category.

These finalists represent a diverse range of sectors, with each one making significant contributions toward a sustainable and low-carbon future. The SEAI Energy Awards aim to highlight innovative and sustainable energy solutions from businesses across Ireland.

CEO of SEAI, William Walsh, praised the increasing standard seen in the SEAI Energy Awards each year. He emphasized the importance of having role models in Ireland who demonstrate high levels of drive and innovation. Walsh commended this year’s nominees for their dedication, which he believes will inspire others.
