President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has arrived in France as part of his first official state visit after assuming office.
Sebastien Le Connor, the French minister, led the official reception ceremony at Museum Square.
A group of French Republican Guard cavalry and motorbikes were lined up for the special ceremony, after which the national anthems of both countries were played.
Sheikh Mohamed also visited the monument to Napoleon Bonaparte in the palace.
The UAE president met French President Emmanuel Macron at the Elysée Palace.

The visit is an opportunity to reinforce and expand the longstanding strategic partnership between the two countries.
