Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence and Commissioner-General of Expo 2020 Dubai, and GCC Secretary-General Nayef Farah Mubarak Al Dr. Le Hajiraf attended the launching ceremony of the Gulf Cooperation Council Youth Conference. The forum was hosted by the 2020 Dubai Expo Youth Pavilion.

With the theme of “Unite Youth, Shared Vision”, organized by the Arab Youth Center and the UAE Federal Youth Administration in cooperation with the Gulf Cooperation Council General Secretariat and the Gulf Cooperation Council National Youth and Sports Ministry, the three-day forum will discuss GCC Youth Acceleration The vision, lessons learned from the COVID-19 pandemic, and joint cooperation in projects and initiatives to enhance and build the capabilities of the younger generation to better serve the motherland.

The forum’s agenda will focus on four key areas: a common Gulf Cooperation Council identity; the role of youth during recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic; and youth empowerment, opportunity, and entrepreneurship.

Sheikh Nahyan said: “This forum was held in the UAE under the wise instructions of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan. He has always confirmed that the UAE mobilizes personal energy and The great determination to prepare him for his role is shaping the future of the country, the region, and the world.”

The head of the Gulf Cooperation Council said in his speech: “During the COVID-19 pandemic, we have seen our young people invent solutions to conduct business and support the economy. We have seen them implement the instructions of our leaders on the front lines, There is no tirelessness or boredom, determined to provide effective solutions to accelerate the process of recovery from the effects of the pandemic that has swept the world.”

In a message to young people, he urged them to continue to make the best contribution to the future of the motherland and the people of the region.
