Held at the Thanh Nien Stadium, the first International Jazz Festival in Nha Trang city took place over five nights with an extensive remit of audio and lighting solutions to power sound and visuals. The show featured performances from over 100 artists from across the country, as well as international musicians from the US, Singapore and Korea.
The programme presented varying musical experiences for attendees, from classic melodies to bossa nova and jazz funk, with the aim to showcase the diversity and allure of jazz worldwide, as well as promote Nha Trang city as a safe and exciting destination for domestic and foreign tourists.
In terms of audio, the festival deployed a large selection of d&b speakers including 20 GSL8 and GSL12 loudspeakers and 18 SL subwoofers. The solution also included 34 products from the manufacturer’s V range including 14 V8 and V subwoofers for impact. For amplification, both the D80 and D20 four-channel amplifiers were incorporated. Furthermore, DiGiCo’s Quantum 338 and 225 consoles, as well as its SD8 console, provided audio mixing, while the lighting featured 21 Martin Professional MAC Viper Profile luminaires.
