Belvedere Park will be the host of the new “Wiener Opernsommer Belvedere 2024.”
The new open-air showcase was initiated by the Friends of the Wienner Opernsommer association with Joji Hattori as the Artistic Director and Dominik Am Zenhoff-Söns as director and casting director. The festival is presented in collaboration with the Austrian Burghauptmannschaft.
The main event of the festival will be 10 total performances of Mozart’s “Don Giovanni” starting on July 1, 2024 with performances running through the 20th of July.
The opera stars Thomas Tatzl in the title role alongside Andreas Hörl, Nathalie Peña-Comas, Johannes Baumberger, Martina Neubauer, Alexandre Beauchat, Ejnar Colak, Juliette Khalil, Lisa Marie Lebitschnig, and Felix Pacher.
